Ali Panju is the Ogden Teacher Fellow seconded to the National Space Academy; his role is fully supported by the generous funding of the Ogden Trust.

Ali leads on the delivery of Physics masterclasses and teacher CPDs in Leicester and the wider Midlands region and develops learning activities for the National Space Academy Lead Educator network. He provides consultancy support for schools to deliver outstanding physics teaching.

Ali teaches Physics and Astronomy at Gateway College and is working towards establishing the College as an outstanding example of Physics provision within the region. 

He established the Physics with Space Science and Technology course at Gateway in partnership with the National Space Academy and the University of Leicester which provides Physics students with a pathway to Engineering and the Space Sciences. 

Ali is himself a graduate of the Physics with Space Science and Technology degree from the University of Leicester and was previously a research fellow at the California Institute of Technology working on Martian Polar surface studies in collaboration with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
