Melissa is a space writer and science communicator. She works for the UK Space Agency and writes for BBC's Sky At Night magazine. She got excited about space at the age of 8 when her teacher described the solar system in a science lesson.

As somebody who was, and still is, a huge fan of The Sky at Night, now I write for The Sky at Night magazine which is a really amazing and such an honour to be able to do that.
