Find your space: Harry Cox

Harry Cox (born 2004) works as the Administrator for the National Space Academy, seconded from the Space Crew team at the National Space Centre. After studying Maths, Physics and Biology at college, he decided against going to university and joined the National Space Centre in 2022.

Since then, he has been seconded twice to the National Space Academy - firstly as a Regional Project Officer during the end of the first phase of Space to Learn, and more recently in the second phase, as the team's Administrator.

Harry is a space-focused individual, who from a young age has dreamt of working within the space sector - he has volunteered to assist numerous departments within the National Space Centre, helping to deliver events, programmes and initiatives across the charity.

He was also diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome (TS) aged 10, and is seeking further diagnosis for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

"If you're thinking about careers in the space sector, I would just encourage you to look at as many resources as possible, as many different pathways you can take and regardless of what your core interests are, I can almost guarantee there will be something in the space sector to accommodate for that."
