At work...
I am a Science Teacher in a secondary school. Despite being a biology specialist, I spend a lot of time teaching chemistry and physics too! I love educating others about science and linking scientific phenomena to everyday life.

Break time...
At the weekends you may find me on a rugby pitch, playing computer games or doing some sort of arts and crafts.


Given the chance, would you go to space?
I absolutely would go to space. I would love to look back on our home from far away and look beyond to everything else that is out there in the infinite universe.

What's the best thing about science?
I love science because it tells us how everything works. As you live your day-to-day life you can find science everywhere and use it to explain why things happen. Science allows you to be curious and creative, it allows you to problem solve and be innovative. 

What's the best thing about working at the National Space Academy?

Working with the students and helping them realise that space is for everyone! I love seeing how the students' attitudes can change over a 2-hour session and help them open their minds to what a career in the space sector would look like to them.
