Sarah Llewellyn Davies

Sarah Llewellyn-Davies is our Regional Project Officer for North Wales and North West. She'll be working on our Space to Learn programme.

In addition to my new role as an RPO, I run my own business as a Space Education Consultant, and I am an associate Teacher Champion with The Schools Observatory. Previously I taught Chemistry and Astronomy (11-18) in a large secondary school in North Wales. In parallel, I was a Lead Educator with the National Space Academy from 2013 and joined the Space to Learn Project as a Space Advocate in 2023. I was honoured to receive the RAS Medal for Education in 2015. I play the piano and sew as often as I can, as well as entertaining my two border collies and two cats.
 
Would you go into space and why/why not?
At one time, going into space would have been the ultimate dream but now I’m more than happy to watch it all happen from the safety of planet Earth!
