Meldith Benasas vis our Regional Project Officer for East Midlands and the South West. She'll be working on our Space to Learn programme. Laura is based at the National Space Centre.

Hi, I'm Meldith! I recently graduated from De Montfort University with a degree in Business Administration and Management. I actually started out studying Biology, so I have a broad set of interests!

During my time at University, I focused heavily on making a positive impact through volunteer work, and I also gained experience as a Sustainability Intern.

I'm a newcomer to the UK, having moved here in 2024 from the Philippines, and I'm currently enjoying my first job here! In my free time, you can find me cooking, at the gym, or gaming. I'm completely obsessed with animals and collecting cute trinkets!

Would you go to space and why/why not?

Yes, absolutely! I'd go in a second. I often get super nauseous when traveling, but seeing the Earth from above is definitely worth risking a little zero-gravity discomfort.
