Elizabeth Poulson

Regional Project Officer for East of England, South East, and London

Elizabeth Poulson

Elizabeth Poulson is our Regional Project Officer for East of England, South East and London. She'll be working on our Space to Learn programme. Elizabeth is based at the London Science Museum.

Elizabeth is a Senior Explainer at the Science Museum, London. She is a key part of the Learning team, delivering engaging science shows to audiences ranging from schools and families to adults and community groups. Alongside this, Elizabeth contributes to day-to-day operations for the Learning programme. Elizabeth has an MPhys Astrophysics degree from the University of Liverpool & LJMU and while there found a passion for science communication. Since graduating she has worked for multiple SciComm organisations, including as a Planetarium Presenter at the Royal Observatory Greenwich.
Outside of work she loves to travel to and find new places to eat and get matcha! She can scuba dive, which she imagines feels similarly peaceful to being in space.

Would you go to space and why/why not?
As much as I would love to go to space for the amazing views and experience, I am low-key scared of everything so not sure its really for me! (Although I think I’m technically too short to be an astronaut)
