Anu Ojha OBE

The National Space Academy is pleased to announce that Anu Ojha, Director of Education and Space Communications at the National Space Centre and Director of the National Space Academy has been awarded an OBE (Order of the British Empire) for services to science education.
Since its inception as a pilot programme in 2008, Anu has been at the forefront of developing and leading the National Space Academy and this award recognises the significant effort, dedication and enthusiasm he has shown to make the National Space Academy the success it has become.
We at the National Space Academy and National Space Centre are delighted for Anu and congratulate him on this well-deserved success.
On hearing the News Anu said:"Although I'm the named recipient, this award is really for all of the colleagues with whom I've had the privilege of working ......from the National Space Academy and its supporting organisations , the National Space Centre itself and the various schools in which I've taught over the last twenty years . It is fantastic validation for the work of all of these individuals and teams to whom we are grateful for having given us the ability to grow into an international programme. Thank you all."
