Integrate space into your classroom teaching.

With over a decade of experience in telling the stories of space science and exploration though a wide range of curriculum topics, The National Space Academy’s intensive CPD events are delivered at the National Space Centre in Leicester, as well as other research and academic institutions and schools across the UK.

Delivered by our network of outstanding Lead Educators, we share a huge range of inspiring, affordable, curriculum-focused and hands on activities and teaching ideas that will raise engagement, inspire your students, and support your own subject knowledge.

We have developed sessions for PGCE science students, early career and non-subject specific teachers and for individual subject specialists.

We can also work with you to produce a bespoke training and enrichment experience for your own school or network.

Bespoke CPD Sessions

If your school, academy, or trust has specific training requirements the National Space Academy is able to tailor CPD support to suit you. Bespoke sessions can be delivered on-site at the institutions which request them, or at one of our partner sites. For further details please contact us.

Funded CPD

We are supported by a number of organisations who are interested in education, the space sector or both.

They provide us with funding to help make some of our projects possible, partner with us to offer guidance, facilities and resources or support us with expertise and insight. Currently we are able to offer CPD for PGCE students funded by The Air Space Power Association, find out more here.
