Steve AlthorpeTeacher of Science at Robert Smyth Academy, Market Harborough   

Steve is a Physical Science specialist at Robert Smyth Academy, Part of Tudor Grange Academies Trust. He has many years' experience teaching GCSE and A Level Chemistry and more recently in teaching GCSE and A Level Physics. He has been instrumental in developing comprehensive teaching and assessment resources for a wide range of Key stage 4 and Key Stage 5 courses ranging from GCSE Sciences and Astronomy to Advanced Level Physics and Chemistry.

Steve has an impressive record of innovation in teaching and learning that has led directly to deeper student understanding and increased student numbers in science. Steve was selected to present Teacher Masterclasses at NASA's Space Exploration Educators Conference at Johnson Space Centre in Texas.
