The National Space Academy is a business unit of the National Space Centre, Registered charity no: 1078832. We engage 11- 19 year olds with STEM subjects using the inspirational context of space. We facilitate pathways into space careers and wider STEM sectors by working with industry and academia. We're growing, and so are industries dependent on STEM skills and knowledge. These industries need young people to get interested in STEM subjects and pursue that interest through school and beyond.

We're looking for a new Early Career Physics Teacher to join our core team based at the National Space Centre in Leicester. You will deliver stand-alone student masterclasses for 11-19 year olds in our dedicated science classroom.

Masterclasses will be based on our existing hands-on, engaging curriculum focussed activities. You will deliver these to a variety of different school groups throughout the year with varying levels of ability across Key Stages 3 – 5.

Qualified Teacher Status and experience of teaching A Level (or equivalent) physics are requirements for the role.
