Eleanor Edwards

EleanorEdwards200Eleanor Edwards Biology Teacher, Belfast High School.

Eleanor studied Biological Sciences at Queen's University, Belfast. She completed the Open University Flexible PGCE in Science in 2010 whilst working as a science technician in Glenlola Collegiate School, where she also ran the school Astronomy Club. A keen amateur astronomer, Eleanor is a council member of the Irish Astronomical Association and helps to organise and run public outreach events.

Since qualifying as a teacher, Eleanor has been teaching GCSE Astronomy, running Astronomy themed workshops and events for local primary schools, and delivering talks and CPD on GCSE Astronomy for teachers.

Eleanor currently teaches A Level Biology, GCSE Astronomy, Biology and Single Award Science at Belfast High School, Newtownabbey.
