Head of Physics at the Rugby School
Andy has an extensive background in physics, having completed his BSc in Physics at Durham, and has been awarded an Institute of Physics (IOP) Teacher Award. He has also helped to start and develop an Extreme Physics residential course for year 10 students. He is also the current chair of the IOP Rugby meeting.
Andy has 20 years of teaching experience and a PhD in Cosmology.
"Through the National Space Academy I hope to share the facilities, resources and technical support available at Rugby School, through delivering teacher CPD and masterclasses. I also hope to develop and extend projects with 16-18 aged students using space satellite data."
